Now, it's your turn to share some memories (like this one of Vu dressed as Hunter S. Thompson for a PAR Halloween party).

Vu, we still miss and think of you every day. Hoping to revive your scholarship fund so other future PARs can experience all the fun (and learning, I guess, too) we had together!
Hi Vu, our son dearest,
It's been three years to the day, on Mothers'Day weekend of 2009, that you left us forever!
It has not been a single day that we don't think about you and miss you dearly. We don't think it will ever happen until the day we die.
We do not want to continue to cry for you and drag you down. As long as you feel free and go to your next life happy, we are grateful for that.
See you in the next life, if there is one. We miss you a whole lot!

Vu, our dearest son,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
This is the third Holiday Season without you in this world.
We miss you very, very much. Forever son!
Viet, Carie and niece Leah An.
BTW, Leah An says hi to you, kisses your photo at the shrine EVERY DAY when she comes in. She even says "Love You"! too.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VU!
Our dearest loving son would have been 36 years old today. (Born February 20th, 1975, The Year of The Cat)
Oh God, we miss him so much!!!

Hi Vu, our dear son,
Today, the Lunar New Year Day, The Year of the Cat, the year that you were born in. That year, in 1975, at the tail end of the Vietnam War, your birthday fell on January 10 of the Lunar Calendar. This year, your birthday will fall on January 18th of the Lunar Calendar.
You would have been 36 years old very soon on February 20th.
We've been thinking a lot about you. We've missed you soooooooo much, son! We already put a red envelop with lì-xì (lucky) money in it on the shrine that mom set up for you in our living room. We wish you were here.
Happy New Year our dear!
Everybody misses you very, very much! It's unmeasurable how painful we are missing you.
